Over 75 years ago, the Salem Baking Co. rekindled the tradition of this centuries old recipe which originated in Moravia. Today the Sugar Cookies are still baked in the homemade tradition using wheat flour and light brown sugar dissolved in warmed molasses accented by the finest flavors from around the world, including Indonesian cinnamon, Jamaican allspice, Chinese ginger and cloves from Madagascar. Rolled paper thin these cookies have the reputation for being the "World's Thinnest Cookie"
