Over 75 years ago, the Salem Baking Co. rekindled the tradition of this centuries old recipe which originated in Moravia. Today the Sugar Cookies are still baked in the homemade tradition using wheat flour, eggs, granulated sugar accented by the finest flavors from around the world, including farm grown pumpkins, Indonesian cinnamon and nutmeg, Jamaican allspice and cloves from Madagascar. Rolled paper thin these cookies have the reputation as the "World's Thinnest Cookie".
